The humble vinyl banner has changed a lot over the past few years. The two colour “For Sale” banners have been to a wide extent replaced.
More sophisticated, more colourful and more effective digital photo quality banner printing methods has enabled you to have anything you can imagine printed onto your vinyl banner, in just about any size you like.
What we cannot afford to loose sight of though is that any banner whose main purpose is to deliver a ?message to your marketplace? must follow a few simple guidelines to be effective.
If you can workout the answers for all these questions, chances are you will have a much better chance of having your vinyl banner work the way you want it too, and work more effectively than 90% (or more) of the other vinyl banners you see in use everyday.
For this purpose I have put together my Vinyl Banner Gallery. The Gallery contains real life vinyl banner examples from my own experience (to which I will add examples from time to time), in an effort to help you make your banner as effective as it can be.

PS. Before I show you some of my clients banners, I think it only right that I give you a look at one banner I use myself locally for marketing to prospects in my area (Lake Macquarie in New South Wales).
This banner also demonstrates that you don’t need to have a super huge banner to get your message across effectively. This one pictured here measures a little over one square, that’s quite small by banner standards though I can assure you this one works.
I use it as temporary roadside Billboard, it is good for distances out to around 120 metres. The shape helps this banner stand out and similar banners to this one will cost you less than $100 (including GST).
This is why my sales, commercial and business banners are different from everyone else. I look at my clients banners and the artwork I create for them as marketing tools, in house I call them “Marketing Missiles”. The reason being they are designed to be effective at a given range and to hit a specific target, that target is your market. If you have not already tried one of my vinyl banners yet, you are missing out on an opportunity.
I can 100% guarantee that you will get more value (a lot more value) from any of my banners than you will ever invest in owning one. The ROI (Return on Investment) is awesome, after all marketing is the only thing in your business that makes you money, everything else is just an overhead.
I hope you enjoy the vinyl banner gallery below.
Steve ? The Vinyl Banner Marketing Guy
1.A Produce Market Stall Banner. This banner is similar to a catalogue of the Owners wares, in this case biscuits.
This was to be a large banner (over 3 metres wide) and I think will be a very effective tool to help Costa?s not only sell his biscuits but also do a lot towards having his brand recognised.
Costa?s is still deciding whether he will go through with this banner. If you like it maybe you should let him know.
2. Notice Board Banner. I made this one for a good mate of mine ? Jamie Wadley from HunterWide Home Loans in New South Wales.
Jamie and HunterWide Home Loans are one of my? oldest clients. Jamie has ordered quite a number of banners over the last few years, both for his business and as sponsorship gifts for other organisations he has dealings with.
Jamie wanted a small Notice Board sized banner to tell passers by a little about the different types of Home Loans available. Something without all the usual banking hype.
This design is based on a classic piece of advertising by the famous Madison Avenue Advertising Guru David Ogilvy.
Where I differ from most or all other vinyl banner suppliers is that my business banner designs are marketing tools first and foremost.
I call on all my knowledge of marketing and advertising (I have been an avid marketing student for many years). When it comes to business, a banner being pretty is just not enough. They have to SELL!
3. Computer Repairs Banner. Though more word rich than I would recommend for outdoor banner use, this Computer Repairs Banner is designed to be displayed at the business premises, in a car park.
With this type of situation there is more time to read the banner and it is over a shorter distance than the average outdoor banner used on a roadside? etc.
This is one of my Mini Billboard size banners (3,000mm wide by 1,000mm tall). These are custom made to your exact needs and are available for $240 GST and delivery included anywhere in Australia. This makes them the best value vinyl banner of their kind in Australia.
4. Florists Banner ? This is a very traditional vinyl banner design, though if used in the correct way this style can be just as effective as any complex banner design popular today. It is clear, straight to the point can be read in a second and points the way to the business it services. What more could we ask?
These style of banners are very well suited to my entry level banner range. These start off in price at $99 including GST and are roughly three quarters the size of an average front door (1,800mm by 600mm).
A lot of first time banner owners start off with this size banner. I am always amazed how quickly most new clients will order their second banners usually within a few days of receiving banner number one.
