Terms of Service
These terms cover this website, Stripe Checkout for products available for direct purchase, and the custom signage work I quote. They are meant to be readable. Quotes and proofs for a specific job still govern that job.

Using This Website
This site is a marketing and enquiry site. It explains products and how to contact me. It does not include a shopping cart or customer accounts. Products available for direct purchase on this website are paid through Stripe Checkout. At launch those stock products are Tow Smart signs on the Universal and Vitara pages. Custom work stays quote-based.
Information on the site is general guidance. Sizes, materials, pricing, lead times, and guarantees on a live quote or invoice are the ones that apply to your job.
You may not misuse the site (for example attempting to break security, overload it, or copy it as if it were your own catalogue). Site content, photos, and product descriptions are copyright. Do not reuse them for your own selling without asking.
Quotes, Orders, and Paying
Most work is quoted. You describe the job, I quote, you approve artwork or a proof, then production starts. A quote is an invitation to proceed, not a standing offer that lasts forever. Prices, inclusions, and timing are confirmed for that job.
Band backdrop work uses Mates Rates. Mates Rates are the prices I offer bands using my usual proof and deposit process. There is no membership or coupon code. A small deposit is due when artwork is approved — typically $150 — and the balance at dispatch. Other products are quoted as they come.
Products available for direct purchase on this website are paid through Stripe Checkout. At launch those stock products are Tow Smart vehicle under tow signs. Those prices include GST. Standard Australia Post is free; Express Post is $9.90 extra at checkout. Custom sizes and quoted work are still paid by the method on the invoice, often bank transfer or PayPal.
Prices are in Australian dollars. GST is included in the direct-purchase prices shown on this site, and is shown on the quote or invoice for other work where it applies.
Artwork, Proofs, and Intellectual Property
You must have the right to use every logo, photo, name, and design you send me. If a job would infringe someone else's rights, I can refuse or stop it.
You keep your logos and brand assets. I keep my templates, manufacturing methods, and website content. Files I prepare to print your job are for producing that job unless we agree otherwise.
Please check proofs carefully. Production after approval follows the approved proof. I am not responsible for spelling, sizing, or design issues you approved, except where the Australian Consumer Law says otherwise.
I may photograph or show finished jobs as examples on this site. If you do not want that, say so when you order.
Custom-Made Goods
Most banners, backdrops, and printed signs are made to your artwork and measurements. If a prototype kick drum cover later goes into production for you, the same custom-made rule applies. Once production has started after you approve a proof, a change of mind usually cannot unwind that work, except where the Australian Consumer Law requires otherwise.
If you need a change before production, tell me as soon as you can. I will say what is still possible and whether the quote needs to move.
Delivery in Australia and Overseas
I mainly supply customers in Australia. For products paid through Stripe Checkout on this website (currently Tow Smart signs), Standard Australia Post is free; Express Post is $9.90 extra at checkout. Other jobs confirm delivery on the quote. Tow Smart replacement signs under the twelve-month unconditional guarantee are posted free to any Australian address you specify.
Overseas enquiries are welcome when the job is practical. Extra freight, customs, import duty, and taxes in your country are your responsibility unless the quote says otherwise. I cannot control customs delays.
Risk in the goods passes in line with the delivery method we agree (for example when handed to the carrier, or when you collect). That does not limit Australian Consumer Law rights for Australian consumers.
Faults and the Australian Consumer Law
If you are a consumer in Australia, you have rights under the Australian Consumer Law that I cannot exclude. Goods must be of acceptable quality and match their description. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.
If a product is faulty or not as described, contact me with photos and what went wrong. I will sort a repair, replacement, or refund as the law requires.
Where the law allows me to limit liability for goods or services that are not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic, or household use, my liability is limited to supplying the work again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
Change of Mind and Tow Smart Replacement
Custom printed banners and backdrops are generally not returnable for change of mind after production has started, as set out above.
Stock Tow Smart signs are not sold with a change-of-mind return. If a sign is faulty or not as described, contact me and it will be handled under the Australian Consumer Law.
Separately, Tow Smart signs include a twelve-month unconditional replacement guarantee: if you lose the sign, the dog eats it, or it is destroyed, I will replace it free of charge and post the replacement to any Australian address you specify. That replacement postage is free. This sits alongside your Australian Consumer Law rights, which cannot be excluded.
Faulty goods are handled under the Australian Consumer Law, not only the twelve-month replacement guarantee for Tow Smart signs.
Band Backdrop Satisfaction Promise
If you're not happy with a band backdrop I make, I'll make another one. This is my own satisfaction promise and is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Kick Drum Cover Prototypes
Registering interest as a Prototype Partner does not commit you to buy anything. If we later agree a paid cover, the quote for that cover applies.
Prototype Partners will be offered a reduced trial price, confirmed before anything goes into production. Honest feedback and a few photos from real gigs are the point of the trial, not a guaranteed retail product yet.
Customers Outside Australia
These terms still apply if you enquire or order from overseas. The contract is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of New South Wales have jurisdiction, except that Australian consumers keep any non-excludable local rights.
Consumer guarantee schemes in your country may differ. I will be straight about what I can and cannot do for an overseas job before you pay.
Website Information and Liability
I try to keep the site accurate. If something looks out of date, ask and I will check it. For towing, it is always sensible to look at the latest advice from the transport authority where you are travelling. The visibility guide lists official starting points.
To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss (for example missed gigs or trip delay) arising from use of the website or from a job, except for liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other law.
Privacy
Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, and overseas service providers.
Changes to These Terms
I may update these terms. The date at the top is the current version. Orders already accepted stay on the terms that applied when we agreed the quote, unless we both agree a change.
