Run-Through Banners That Make an Entrance

Give the team a proper entrance, put sponsors where the crowd is looking, and bring it out again next week.

The players are ready, the crowd is watching, and the team comes through in club colours. A good run-through banner turns those few seconds into part of the day. I make reusable woven polyester banners for sporting clubs, schools, and events, custom sized around your team, artwork, and sponsors.

The Moment Everyone Is Watching

The entrance is one of those moments when players, parents, supporters, and sponsors are all looking in the same direction. Phones come out, photos get taken, and the names on the banner are right there in the frame.

That is why run-through banners work so well for clubs. They make the entrance feel bigger, give sponsors useful visibility, and can come back out for the next game instead of going in the bin after one afternoon.

  • Junior, senior, and representative sporting teams
  • Milestone games, finals, season launches, and special club occasions
  • Schools and community teams wanting a reusable game-day entrance
  • Sponsors who want their name seen when the crowd is actually watching
  • Businesses and event organisers using a branded entrance at public events

Built for Game Day, Not One Game

I print run-through banners on tough woven polyester, hemmed for durability and made to fold down small enough to travel in a car boot. They are custom printed to your club colours, team identity, sponsor artwork, and the space you have to work with.

You do not need a complicated freestanding frame. Most clubs use two suitable poles and a couple of volunteers to hold the banner for the entrance. Around 2.5 m poles are common, but the finished setup should suit the banner and the people using it.

The opening can be made taller where you have taller players. Removable streamers can also be added through the opening and attached with Velcro when you want a little more theatre without making the banner harder to reuse.

Planning with a committee or sponsor? Download the Run-Thru Game Plan to work through the options, collect the details, and take something useful to the meeting.

  • Tough woven polyester that resists creasing better than PVC vinyl
  • Custom overall size and opening height to suit the team using it
  • Club, team, and sponsor artwork worked into one clear design
  • Layout help when you have usable logos but not finished print artwork
  • Optional removable streamers for the entrance
  • Optional milestone mini-banners, such as game-count banners, discussed when ordering

From Rough Idea to Game Day

You do not need a finished specification before you contact me. Run-through jobs are custom quoted, and typical turnaround is around three weeks once the artwork is sorted. Tell me your first-game or event date as early as you can.

  • Send your club or team logo, plus sponsor logos if they are going on the banner
  • Tell me the sport, age group, and rough size if you already have one in mind
  • Give me the first date you need to use it so I can give you a realistic timeline
  • Let me know what poles and helpers you expect to have on the day
  • If the committee or sponsor needs something to review first, use the Run-Thru Game Plan to get everyone on the same page
  • Send me what you have and I'll tell you what I need next, then come back with a quote

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you supply the poles?

Usually not. Most clubs already have suitable poles and a couple of people to hold the banner. Around 2.5 m poles are common. Tell me what you already have and I'll help you work out whether it suits the finished banner.

What size run-through banner do we need?

There is no single size that suits every team. The right size depends on the players, the opening you want, and where the banner will be used. The opening can be made taller for taller players. If you are unsure, send me the sport, age group, and whatever measurements you have and I'll help you work it out.

How long does a run-through banner take to make?

Typical turnaround is around three weeks once the artwork is sorted. Tell me your first-game, finals, or event date when you enquire. Earlier is better if your committee needs approval or the artwork still needs work.

Can sponsors help pay for it?

Often, yes. A run-through puts sponsor names in front of the crowd at one of the moments people are most likely to be watching and taking photos. Many clubs use sponsor contributions to help fund the banner.

Can we add streamers or milestone details?

Yes. Removable streamers can be added through the opening using Velcro, and milestone mini-banners can also be discussed for things such as game counts or special occasions. Tell me what you have in mind when I quote the job.

Give Them an Entrance Worth Remembering

Send me your club logo, the first date you need it, and whatever you already know about size. If you are still at committee stage, start with the Run-Thru Game Plan. I'll help you work out the rest.
