When someone in the crowd takes a photo, your band name should be in it.
A backdrop is not there simply to decorate the wall. It is there so every photograph from the front of the stage belongs to the band. I print them on tough woven fabric, not old PVC vinyl, sized for the rooms you actually play, with finishing that survives repeated pack-down.
Who Gig Backdrops Are For
Backdrops suit acts who want a consistent stage identity: pubs, clubs, festivals, and tours where venue drapes are hit-and-miss.
Many bands already run lighting and visuals. A backdrop still matters when the room needs a clear name, logo, and mood behind the performance.

Club n’ Pub (2,000 × 1,500 mm) is the 2026 Hot Sheet club-stage size. Mates Rates start from $362 on Supa-Tuff. If you want every phone photo from the room to look like your gig, this is the easier first purchase: enough cloth to read as your band, without jumping to a festival-width backdrop.
Mates Rates are the prices I offer bands using my usual proof and deposit process. There is no membership or coupon code. A small deposit is due when artwork is approved — typically $150 — and the balance at dispatch. That is the table on the 2026 Hot Sheet.
Woven fabrics are standard across the backdrop range.
Supa-Tuff is strong, easy, good value, and versatile: the usual starting point for most bands. Blockout is luxurious, durable, and 100% opaque: useful for outdoor use or stages with lights behind the backdrop.
Digital print is matched to your approved proof so the delivered backdrop matches what you signed off. PVC vinyl creases on tour; woven fabric is the current stage standard.

How to Order a Backdrop
My usual flow is artwork, proof, production, then delivery. Tell me your gig date early if timing matters.
- Send frame width and height, or photos of the stage opening with rough measurements
- Artwork: print-ready PDF/vector is the fast path. A logo, a sketch, or a photo of an idea is a normal start. Most bands pay nothing for design; a long or complicated job is quoted before it costs you
- Print-ready files usually get a first response in about 24 hours. Layout help typically adds about 3–5 days
- Review emailed proofs before production. Proofs are usually turned around in about 24 hours
- Production is often around 8–10 working days after approval
- Australian delivery commonly follows by express post
- For Mates Rates, a small deposit is due when artwork is approved — typically $150 — and the balance is due at dispatch.
- If you have a gig date, tell me up front so production can be planned around it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Eyelets or pole loops, what should we ask for?
- It depends how you mount the backdrop. Eyelets suit rope or bungee to truss or a frame; full-length pole loops suit pipe-and-pocket rigs. Send me your frame photos or venue setup when you quote. Combinations are possible.
What size backdrop do I need?
- Measure your frame or the visible area behind the band, then match it to a named Hot Sheet size if you can. Club n’ Pub (2,000 × 1,500 mm) is the club-stage size for many pub rooms; Laneway II is marked most popular on the 2026 sheet. Do you help if we only have a logo?
- Yes. That is normal. Send me what you have and I'll tell you whether the file will hold up at backdrop size. Most bands pay nothing for design. Fancy or time-heavy work is flagged before it is charged.
