Suzuki Vitara Vehicle Under Tow Sign

A Tow Smart sign designed for motorhomers who flat-tow a Suzuki Vitara.

If you flat-tow a Vitara, this is the Tow Smart sign made for that rear door, not a one-size panel stretched to fit. Same woven polyester as the Universal sign, with proportions that suit the Vitara.

Custom quote

Regular is the Vehicle Under Tow layout. Speed Limit is the same sign with the 90 km/h speed display included on it.

Prices include GST · Free standard delivery Australia-wide · 12-month unconditional replacement guarantee

Express Post available at checkout for $9.90.

Not sure which one will fit? Send me a photo or the approximate width available across the rear and I'll help you check before you order.

Who the Vitara Sign Is For

A generic sign does not always sit cleanly on every rear door. The Vitara layout exists because a lot of motorhomers tow that model, and they needed a sign that actually fitted.

  • Motorhomers flat-towing a Suzuki Vitara
  • Travellers replacing a worn sign that fitted well previously
  • Owners who found interior dash signs hard to read through tinted rear glass. Tow Smart sits on the outside of the rear window, so it stays readable.

I ordered my tow sign from Steve the service was fantastic best I have dealt with. I would recommend Steve to everybody. The sign is perfect 4 me on a Suzuki.

Made to Be Seen

A Vehicle Under Tow sign has one important job: make it immediately clear to approaching drivers that the vehicle ahead is being towed.

Tow Smart signs use large, high-contrast lettering so approaching drivers can recognise the message from behind, which is the whole point of the sign. It stays practical to fit, remove, fold and store.

The result is a highly visible sign designed specifically for Australian motorhome and A-frame towing.

Towing requirements can vary between states and territories. Before travelling, it is always sensible to check the latest advice from the relevant transport authority.

Vitara Tow Smart Sign: Details

Printed on woven polyester with stitched hems and vinyl-reinforced metal eyelets. Made to be durable, fade resistant, and easy to fit on the outside of the rear window or door, then fold away when you are not towing.

Each Vitara sign is available as Regular ($97 including GST) or Speed Limit ($127 including GST, in stock). Custom is a quote for odd sizes or designs not covered by Universal/Vitara and those two layouts.

Not sure which one will fit? Send me a photo or the approximate width available across the rear and I'll help you check before you order.

  • Model-specific Vitara layout (not the universal hatch fit)
  • Twelve-month unconditional replacement: if you lose it, the dog eats it, or it gets struck by lightning and vaporised, I replace it free and post it to any Australian address you specify
  • Folds for compact storage when not towing
  • 90 km/h Speed Limit layout is in stock. The Speed Limit message is wider than Regular, so measure your rear door or send a photo before you choose that version

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I buy the Vitara sign or the universal sign?

If you flat-tow a Vitara, start here. The Universal sign targets a broader set of small hatches. I can confirm from your rear-window measurements if you are between sizes.

Will the speed-limit version fit my Vitara?

Speed Limit is the Regular Vitara sign with a 90 km/h speed display included on the same piece of fabric. That message is wider than Regular, so send measurements or a rear-door photo and I'll confirm it fits. It is a stock option, $127 including GST, not a legal-compliance statement.

Is delivery included?

Standard Australia Post is free. Express Post is $9.90 extra, chosen at checkout. Replacement signs under the twelve-month unconditional guarantee are posted free to any Australian address you specify.

How do I mount the Vitara sign on the rear door?

The sign sits on the outside of the rear window or door. Most owners use the reinforced eyelets with cord or bungee. Send a photo of your current mounting or rear door if you are unsure. I can confirm the Vitara layout suits your model year.

Is there a guarantee?

Yes. Tow Smart signs come with a twelve-month unconditional replacement guarantee. It doesn’t matter if you lose it, the dog eats it, or it gets struck by lightning and vaporised — whatever. Your sign will be replaced absolutely free and posted to any Australian address you specify, so you can be on your way again ASAP. That sits alongside your Australian Consumer Law rights, which cannot be excluded.

Do towing requirements vary between states?

Towing requirements can vary between states and territories. Before travelling, it is always sensible to check the latest advice from the relevant transport authority. The visibility guide links to official government starting points.

Replacing a Sign That Used to Fit?

A photo of your current mounting is enough for me to confirm the Vitara layout is still the right replacement.
