I recently had the pleasure of helping St. Bede’s Primary School in Braidwood (New South Wales) with two flying flags (School Flags). St. Bede’s is a Catholic Primary School is located in the beautiful and historic town of Braidwood which lay about 90 kilometres east of the nations capital Canberra. The school was originally established in 1859 and has run uninterrupted since 1878. That’s over 150 years – there has to be a record in there somewhere. Congratulations St. Bede’s!

The late Chairman Toru Kumon developed the prototype of what we now know as the Kumon Method for his own son Takeshi in 1954. He was a high school mathematics teacher at that time. Since those humble beginnings Kumon Education Centres have now grown around the world and practice in 46 countries – including Australia. I have been fortunate enough to be able assist a few centres by providing them with vinyl banners to help promote their excellent service.

This is an idea I came up with working with Natasha at Doggy Stylez – Dog Grooming and Obedience Training. (Hi Natasha!). Natasha wanted something special for her first vinyl banner, it was quite a challenge to get everything just the way she wanted. Though I think you will agree, the finished result we came up with is a beaut. This is one of my $99 banner sizes (ie. 1,800 by 600 millimetres), though as you can see there is no doubt about what business Natasha is in.
